Plan First! is a insurance program from the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) which covers family planning services for women who do not have health insurance.
MDCH will offer eligibility for family planning services to women of childbearing age, 19 – 44 years old, who are not currently Medicaid eligible, do not have private insurance or Medicare, and who have family income at or below 185% of the federal poverty level.
Applications for the program are available at the Saginaw County Department of Public Health’s Family Planning Program. You will need to bring proof of citizenship to your first appointment. The following documents are acceptable:
